4、 Working principle of multi-channel open channel ultrasonic flowmeter
Using the principle of time difference ultrasonic measurement (the velocity difference caused by the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the direction of liquid flow and the opposite direction), a two-layer velocity measurement layer is distributed on the flow measurement section. Ultrasonic water level gauges are installed on the channel to measure the water level, calculate the cross-sectional area of the water passage, and calculate the flow rate of the water passage section based on the hydraulic model.
The acoustic ultrasonic flowmeter measures the actual flow velocity of each layer in the channel through two sets of sensors (as shown in the figure below), simulates the distribution of actual operating flow velocity, and solves the accuracy of converting linear velocity V into surface velocity Ѷ to improve the overall measurement accuracy of the instrument
